Indian worshippers of idols occupied army terrorists martyr 28 innocent Kashmiris in June Srinagar, July 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have decided to call in the Army to control the Baramulla town after para-military forces failed to quell anti-India demonstrations, participated by thousands of people. In a high level official meeting in Srinagar, today, it was decided that the army personnel would be deployed alongside police forces to prevent further protests. The death toll rose to four due to the brute force used by Indian police against peaceful demonstrators during the last three days. Earlier, a large number of people marched in defiance of strict curfew restrictions in the town, today, chanting, "We want freedom". The protesters carried the body of a young boy, who succumbed to his injuries in a hospital. The troops had subjected the martyred to bullet fire. In Srinagar, the police arrested APHC leaders and activists while they were holding a silent protest march from Rajbagh to the United Nations Observers’ office. The troops resorted to heavy lathi charge and excessive teargas shelling to break up the protests in Maisuma, Kokar Bazaar, Gaokadal, Dooru and Islamabad. An army vehicle was set ablaze by an angry mob at Palhalan in Pattan. The town of Sopore continued to remain under curfew restrictions. Complete shut down was observed all across the occupied territory against the Baramulla killings. The APHC AJK Convenor, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, in a statement condemned the use of force against peaceful protestors. According to the data, released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, Indian troops, in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred 28 innocent Kashmiris in the last month of June. 59 people were arrested, 10 women disgraced and 46 residential houses damaged during the period. 1061 people were critically injured when the troops used brute force against peaceful demonstrators.
