The West and the Dark Tunnel

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most merciful

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the Kings men, and the Horses
Could not put Humpty Dumpty together again….‎

I remember watching a cartoon on this rhyme. Humpty Dumpty was a fat, egg shaped ‎‎man, who was very rich and arrogant. He wanted to touch the sky or may be he thought ‎‎that the sun was gold so he wanted to take it… I don’t remember. Well he got made for ‎‎himself a huge wall that could touch the sky, it was a wall of gold… Then when he ‎‎climbed and sat on the wall, lightning struck him and he fell from all that height and was ‎‎broken to pieces. Then all kings men and the horses tried to stick him together but they ‎‎failed.‎

It will be right to wonder what connection does this Kindergarten rhyme have with the ‎‎release made by Sahab Media Productions on the occasion of the anniversary of 9/11 ‎‎‎“The West and the Dark Tunnel”. A very amusing documentary that discusses amongst ‎‎other things, the financial crisis the world is suffering and the possible causes and ‎‎outcomes. I don’t know why but the images from this long forgotten cartoon came before ‎‎my eyes when I finished watching this documentary. Gradually I realized why.‎

American image so glorified before the world… all for the power, more so, financial ‎‎control and power. I remember someone telling me not to boycott American goods ‎because ‎all money directly or indirectly went in their hands… they controlled finance… ‎and their ‎fanatic attempt to gain more prestige and dominance led them to their foolish ‎mistake of ‎attacking Iraq and Afghanistan. In reality their finance is but hollow on the ‎inside as was ‎discussed in the documentary. If you build a wall, gold is not the strongest ‎thing to build ‎with… and then with the attack America thought itself on the top of the ‎world… victory ‎was to come eassssssssssssssyy

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall

But then came the shock. America had a greeeaaaaaaaaat fall. The finance crumpled and ‎‎the war took its toll. The two edged sword pierced its way back into the heart of the ‎‎attacker… luckily they were combated too well. Victory seemed anywhere but not with ‎‎America. The patience and the far sightedness of the Mujahideen made the war swallow ‎‎its launcher, and with the severe financial blow, the lightning struck hard‎

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

And the desperate attempts to save the prestige and glory began. America summoned ‎‎whoever of its allies it could to supply more forces in order to win the wars. Trying to ‎‎squeeze out all they can from the two patient lands. ‎

I would like to bring to notice one very hilarious point that came to my mind about the ‎‎Yamama contract. This isn't its place, but the fact that it so commonly occurs to my head ‎‎that I have to discuss it in order to make it stop forces me to insert it here. The main idiot ‎‎in the contract was Bandar of Aal Saood… and he said some pretty nasty things, May ‎‎Allah punish him for what he said… I was wondering how truly names are kept to the ‎‎nature of its owner… for in my language ‘Bandar’ stands for Monkey… he is no less ‎‎monkey than I saw back at home… a monkey in coat and tie…‎

Well yes, the kings men and horses, men of Europe and horses of middle east… they ‎tried ‎to help and put Humpty Dumpty America back

All the Kings Men and the Horses

But the efforts are proving more futile than anticipated. Not only has this war on so called ‎‎terror, drawn all European countries into the battle… Mujahideen are standing up where ‎‎they were silent before… say for in the Arabian Peninsula. And its dragging on and on… ‎

Could not put Humpty Dumpty together again….‎

Quite an interesting interpretation of the rhyme but it matched so well that I was thinking ‎‎about it and wondering whether Humpty Dumpty in the cartoon was wearing red white ‎‎stripped pants. Any way as the struggle continues we are waiting for the day the ‎‎Mujahideen will declare victory in Afghanistan. And the other lands will soon follow… ‎‎the jest is, there is no hope for Humpty Dumpty America because no matter how much ‎‎you are stuck together, you will still fall apart, because you have fallen from quite an ‎‎unexpected height.‎

In the end, it will be worth contemplating an after point on the documentary. How dark is ‎‎this tunnel the West is in and until when? We will have to question the train heading that ‎‎way … and just be careful, if the tunnel is dead end… the darkness might be terribly ‎‎eternal… so just in case, BE CAREFUL!!!‎
